Inclusive Leadership Programme


This programme has been designed for senior leaders and managers who want to learn the skills to lead a diverse team.  The programme will inform, motivate and equip leaders to draw on evidence based sound psychological evidence as well as practical application for long term behaviour changes.

Modules and Objectives

Module 1: Understanding Inclusion and Diversity
  • Explore the concept of inclusive leadership and the importance of embracing diversity in all its forms.
  • Learn about various dimensions of diversity, including culture, age, neurodiversity, and more.
  • Understand the benefits of inclusive leadership in leveraging diverse talents and perspectives.
  • Examine unconscious biases that may hinder inclusivity and develop strategies to mitigate their impact.
Module 2: Cultural and Intersectional Competence
  • Develop cultural intelligence and intersectional awareness to lead diverse teams effectively.

  • Cultivate inclusive practices that embrace the intersectionality of diversity within teams.
Module 3: Effective Communication across Diverse Identities
  • Enhance communication skills to navigate diverse identities and perspectives.
  • Explore communication styles, norms, and eliminate microaggressions.
  • Develop strategies for fostering understanding, empathy, and collaboration across diverse identities.
  • Cultivate inclusive language and non-verbal cues that respect and value individual differences.
Module 4: Building Inclusive and High-Performing Teams
  • Create an inclusive team culture that celebrates and capitalises on diversity.
  • Address potential challenges and biases related to intergenerational dynamics, neurodiversity, and other diverse identities.
  • Promote psychological safety to encourage full participation and innovation from all team members.
  • Implement inclusive team practices that foster collaboration, trust, and equitable decision-making.
Module 5: Sustaining Inclusive Leadership Practices for Global Success
  • Embed inclusive leadership practices for sustainable behaviour change.
  • Develop strategies to embrace diversity and inclusivity at all levels of the organisation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth in understanding diverse identities.
  • Evaluate and refine inclusive practices to adapt to evolving needs and ensure long-term success.
