Workplace stress is something many of us experience. Tight deadlines, competing priorities, and the pace of modern working life can quickly build pressure across teams. While some level of stress is inevitable, organisations are increasingly recognising the importance of giving employees the tools they need to manage it effectively.
This April, to mark Stress Awareness Month, Wellity Global is launching the #BeTheChangeEssex Tour — a county-wide initiative designed to support organisations across Essex in tackling workplace stress in a practical and proactive way.
And we would love your organisation to be part of it.
Bringing Stress Awareness to Workplaces Across Essex
Throughout April, we will be travelling across Essex. We will be delivering free, in-person 45-minute interactive stress awareness sessions to organisations of all sizes.
Each session is designed to give employees practical tools to manage pressure, build resilience, and maintain wellbeing in fast-paced work environments.
The sessions will be delivered by Sadie Restorick MSc MABP and James Sharples, combining evidence-based insight with practical workplace strategies that people can apply immediately.
Rather than focusing purely on theory, these sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and directly relevant to the realities of modern work.
A Big Goal for Stress Awareness Month
This year marks the 33rd Stress Awareness Month, and to recognise it we’ve set ourselves an ambitious challenge.
Our aim is to support 3,300 employees across Essex within 30 days.
From local councils and law firms to electrical distributors, professional services teams, and growing SMEs, organisations across the county are already booking sessions to support their teams.
Every organisation that joins the tour helps create a wider ripple effect — increasing awareness of workplace stress and equipping more people with tools to manage it effectively.
BBC Essex Will Be Following the Tour
To help amplify the conversation around workplace stress, BBC Essex will be following the tour throughout the month.
It’s a powerful opportunity to highlight how Essex organisations are leading the way when it comes to taking stress seriously and creating healthier workplaces.
