This one-hour training provides an in-depth understanding of post-natal depression (PND), covering its causes, symptoms, and impact on all new parents. Participants will learn about hormonal, emotional, and psychological factors, recognise common signs, and explore treatment and support options.
The session also examines intersectionality, highlighting how race, gender, socioeconomic status, and cultural background can shape the PND experience. Attendees will gain essential knowledge to offer empathetic support and promote mental health and wellbeing in the post-natal period.
