Description
In today’s digital age, some prominent influencers openly express misogynistic views and promote unhealthy relationship behaviours towards women. It is crucial to safely challenge this messaging and guide young boys and girls to recognise the importance of positive role modelling and the harmful impact of misogyny. Through thoughtful discussions, the session explores positive role models who exemplify healthy and respectful behaviours towards women, as well as the damaging effects of manipulative tactics promoted by some influencers. It is our shared responsibility to raise the next generation of individuals who respect and empower women while promoting positive masculinity for all. Additionally, we will teach young women to recognise and confront misogyny and inappropriate behaviour, equipping them to be agents of change.

Objectives
- Recognise the influence of media, online communities, and influencers in perpetuating misogynistic views and unhealthy relationship dynamics.
- Safely challenge and reject misogynistic behaviour, both online and offline, while promoting positive attitudes and behaviours towards women.
- Understand the devastating impact of misogyny and violence on individuals’ lives, particularly girls, motivating participants to take a stand and contribute to creating a safer and more inclusive society.
- Empower young women to recognise and confront misogyny and inappropriate behaviour, equipping them to be agents of change.
- Explore positive role models who exemplify healthy masculinity and respectful relationships, fostering a culture of empathy, consent, and equality.
